Ok my first question would be do you have java script enabled , go to tools internet options , options2) check you preferances for vewinf pics or attachments.
my guess is that the java script is not enabled

Background information Photoshop CS2 cannot open TIFF, PSB and PDF files larger than 2 GB if they were saved in Photoshop without compression or if they contain a pattern layer style or a pattern content layer. The 9.0.1 update allows you to reopen these files in Photoshop CS2.
