I have a Emerson lf501em5f. I had the tv stop working and only beep. I replaced the main board and the tv now no longer beeps, but it now powers up for only a few seconds

Although you have change the main board you may need to replace the Power Board. Try doing a reset first
TV Reset-
Unplug TV from wall plug for 10 minutes, then press and hold power button on TV for 60 seconds--Plug in turn on--
You can leave it unplugged over night

I have tried the reset still not staying on. Going to have it looked at to see if power board is bad as well.
Darn was hoping that would work.
