I have a Faberware percolator and I took it apart to replace the thermostat but the wire broke (prob due to old age and heat). I ordered a new one and now I forgot how it goes back together. How can

Hi. Looking at the prongs with the base off and the handle away from you. One end goes on the left prong and the other to the leg of the high element on the top. Good luck. Ron
