I have a feature on conv oven i dont understand what it is
On the conventional oven if you turn all the way up it has a feature i havent used before it is a click on the dial passed the highest temperature with a dotted symbol what does it do????

I think this is the dfrost function. It is on mine anyway.
It is probably a self cleaning oven. If you turn your knob to this your oven will clean itself. I hope this will help you.
I think this is the 'defrost' function.
The newer ones have this self cleaning feature that when it is in this position your oven door should lock because the temp gets do hot you could get burned. Do if your door locks that is what it does hope this helps .
