I have a Fisher & Paykel fridge purchassed in 2000. Freezer below type. The internal light has gone out and the temp indicator light is flashing intermittently. 10 mins later the light is back on and indicator light is steady green as normal. Can anyone advise what's happening? Is there something on the way out?

Check the light switch in that section your having issues in, sounds like a light switch failure and the thermostat to protect the cooling ability is protecting your food currently. If the is and issue, loosen or remove the light bulbs, if problem goes away replace the switch.
