Í have a francis francis X1 for 3 years now. Yesterday I put 2 ESE pads in the double piston, and made my cofee. After that, when I wanted to make my next double coffee, by taking out the piston, the inner side of the piston (with the pads in it) is now stuck in the machine. How can I take that out?

There are 4 nuts that hold the chrome head on. They are either 7mm or 8mm nuts. Loosen then and the head should twist out.
If it the basket (double piston) your talking about, you will have to take it all the way off. you will need a socket and ratchet (1/4") to get it off.
Remember which way you take it of so you can put it back on right.
