On the condenser / outside left rear corner about 4 incues in from the corner and left side as you look at it there is a punch out hole in the drain pan. The newer AC Units are designed to use the plastic fan blade of the condenser fan to splash water on the condenser and evaporate the water. Most of the time it is not necessary to open this drain hole unless you live in a damp climate where the home constantly has a higher internal humidity percentage. It is however necessary to have the unit serviced at regular intervals for coil and fan cleaning due to the fact that dust becomes a caked up goo over time especially on the condenser coil and the 2 fans.
If you feel that you need to open the hole in the drain pan trhen you will also need to install the 3 X 5 inch external drain catch basin with 3 screws and possibly connect an external drain hose and piping.
