I have a Garmin Nuvi 750. It went dead suddenly
I have a Garmin Nuvi 750. It went dead suddenly. I have tired recharging it, plugging it into the computer and using the eight second reset switch. Nothing works to get this thing powered up. I have waited over an hour to get through to Garmin tech support and am still waiting. They have the worst support I have ever seen.

THERES A GOOD CHANCE THAT THE CABLE IS DAMAGED OR EVEN WORST THE CONNECTOR WITHIN THE UNIT IS DAMAGED OR BROKEN. TRY USING THE OTHER CABLE IE THE CAR TO UNIT CABLE OR THE USB TO UNIT CABLE IF EITHER ONE WORKS THE OTHER IS DEFECTIVE, IF NONE OF THEM WORK THERE GOES TROUBLE.
