I have a GE Microwave jvm1540sn1ss.Keep beeping and showing message that keypad is shorted. The replacement keypad I found online listing as $180.Is it worth it to replace it or get the new Microwave?

Hi Toan, first question is how old is the microwave? If it is less than 5 years with no other problems, then yes it's worth fixing. If it's older than 5 years or has other minor problems it might not be worth it. Check the cost of new before fixing and call a repair company in your area to compare prices. Hope that helps.
