Pretty straight forward actually, the center of the lighter is positive so you need to run that wire to a positive power source-it pulls a lot of juice (25 amp) so it should be on it's own circuit-you can go directly to the battery, it would then have full-time power, but it HAS TO BE FUSED-for safety. It is best to ground it close to the location you select, and the stock location is best if there is a knockout already there. Make sure any positive wires you have running through the firewall are enclosed with a rubber grommet so it does not chafe and ground out.
