OK DRILL A 1/4 INCH HOLE TO THE RIGHT OF THE KEY,LOCK ASSEMBLY JUST A TAD BIT BELOW CENTER OF THE SAFE KEY LOCK, NOW USE A SCREWDRIVER AND STICK IT IN THE HOLE, GIVE IT A FEW SACKS WITH THE PALM OF YOUR HAND . NOW WITH THE SCREWDRIVER STUCK IN THE HOLE TIP OF THE SCREWDRIVER TOWARDS THE LOCK ASSY LIGHTLY PRY TO THE LEFT AND DROP THE SAFE ON THE GROUND, (JUST LIKE THE ONE IN THE PICTURE)THIS WILL JAR THE ELECTRIC SOLENOID .YOU MUST DO BOTH AT ONCE. IT MAY A FEW TIMES..IF THAT FAILS TAKE YOUR HARBOR FREIGHT GRINDER WITH A CUT OFF BLADE AND SCORE THE DOOR IN THE CENTER FROM TOP TO BOTTOM, (DON'T CUT THREW OR IT WILL BURN UP ALL OF YOUR STUFF !) USE A LARGE SCREWDRIVER TO THEN PRY THE CENTER OF THE SAFE DOOR UP.. ITS A JUNKY SAFE, BUT THAT'S A GOOD THING 4 U . GOOD LUCK AND IF'N I WAS OF HELP COMMENT VOTE (TELL ME SO I CAN BRAG ON HOW DERN GOOD I'AM).. CUZ IF I CAN;T FIX IT I'LL BREAK IT TRY'N.. Jay longwood Fl
I WOULD ASSUME THAT 90% WOULD HAVE DISABLED THIS KEY FEATURE AS I DID, IT'S NOT A SAFE IF IT CAN BE BROKEN INTO WITH A SCREWDRIVER.. AS WHEN I LOOKED AT THE LOCK ASSEMBLY I DETERMINED THAT IT WAS A JOKEI WOULD ASSUME THAT 90% WOULD HAVE DISABLED THIS KEY FEATURE AS I DID, IT'S NOT A SAFE IF IT CAN BE BROKEN INTO WITH A SCREWDRIVER.. I just got mine open. You will need a flat head screwdriver, hammer, and a chisel. You first need to pry all of the plastic from the front of the safe ( around the knob, keyhole, and electronic key pad. once all of the is removed, remove the plastic ring from the top half of the keyhole take the chisel and pound it into the top of the keyhole between the keyhole and the front of the safe. once snugly in, begin to pry the keyhole away from the safe by using hammer. you may have to pound very did as i had to. you will notice that keyhole has begun to move away from front of safe. take the chisel again and repeatedly pound very hard, driving the chisel into the top of the keyhole between the back of lock and front of the safe. after a while the lock should break away exposing a metal ring with surrounded by small springs. push this inside of the safe. there now should be a nice size whole. down and to the right you will notice a horizontal metal bar running towards the hole, being blocked by metal rod vertically. if you cannot find what i am talking about, turn the knob as if opening and look for the bar that is moving and what blocking it from sliding towards the middle of the safe. take screwdriver and push that button that's blocking the slide down (it should go down with ease. hold button down and turn knob to open. This worked for me and took about 15 minutes, safe was destroyed in process but in was bolted down to hardwood floors and there was no way to take it to locksmith. didn't wanna pay extra for the house visit from them being it would have been an extra fifty bucks. lost whole keyring and cannot remember where i put the spare. never changed battery like a dummy, knowing that it was dead.
