I have a honda pilot with the prestige car starter and the panic alarm keeps going off when I open the door. I can not get it to stop so it has to go through its 2 minute cycle. any ideas on how to get this to stop?

That is your factory alarm. I will assume that this Prestige unit is a remote starter with keyless entry...and you are using the Prestige unit to unlock the doors. Apparently, the unlock wire is connected but, the factory disarm is not. You can turn off your factory alarm by unlocking the vehicle with the key.
