I have a Husqvarna 550xp in the shop right now..2 yrs old...anyone having issues with these autotune carbs..Im having nothing but issues with them? sometimes it will start and when it does startnot very often the the 800 dollar paperweight wont idle.I have the autotune software and have no fail codes related to the carb and updated firmware half a dozen times? Anyone having issues with the autotune carbs?? My customer has run nothing but Husqvarna pre-mixed fuel since new. And is getting very frustrated with this sawMe too Electronic ignition in a chainsaw--come on now! It's a chainsaw!

Check behind the carb that the small rubber seal(called an Impulse pipe) is not leaking. It sounds like an air leak. It happens with most Husqvarna saws.
Specially the smaller ones. You may have to replace the gaskets and the little green Impulse pipe. Sorry , I couldn't be of more help but that's what been happening with Husqvarna chainsaws.
Don't feel special Jeff. Dealers all around the world have the same problem. IMO, the technology is just not quite there yet.
Pull vacuum and pressure test to see if the saw is tight and solid. Idle could be a leak.
