I have a janitrol gmp050-3 and when the heat turns on, the vent blower comes on, however the burners are not igniting. i thought that perhaps the gas valve might need to be replaced. any suggestions?

After the vent motor comes on does the glow plug ignite. If it doesn't ignite it is either the glow plug or the
pressure switches are opening up. Can you take top door off, whether ignitor light or not, you should be able to hear gas going in for a few seconds. If can't hear gas, probably pressure switch.
There is a small glass window in bottom door. Can you look through there and see blinking red light, normally look up inside to see light. Is a code list inside lower door.
