I have a kodak colorburst 250 (EK160-EF) and something is wrong with the battery lid. It keeps sliding out with any movement. How do I fix this? Will the camera still work without the battery lid?
When I say 'battery lid' I mean the plastic slide that covers the battery compartment. I've checked the inside of the lid and the battery section and nothing looks broken. What can/should I do?

Those lids have a small lock that maintains them closed. Obviously the one in your camera is broken. They also have a switch that shuts energy of when they are open. Take to a qualified service in order to replace the broken part.
