When it first started going into protection mode, it was random and would only kick into protection mode if i turned up the ALC ( Audio leveling control) thats part of the stock bose system that was in my car and when i got the rack series amp and subs installed they had wired my base control through my back sub that was stock in the back window so i could adjust the bass on my dash cuz im still running factory stereo. No aftermarket deck or anything. But back to the amp i tried hooking up my amp (just the ground power and remote) and its staying in protection mode constantly. I thought i was my ground so i checked that and i even bought a brand new fosgate T1500 amp and hooked it up and it works but it sounds like **** and doesnt have anywhere near as much bass as my lanzar did. Any other ideas that might help me out cuz i want my old amp back in my car. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could help me out with this. I thought it was my ground or possibly bad connections but i bought a new rockford fosgate T1500 amp and hooked it up and it works but sounds like **** and doesnt have anywhere near as much bass and the lanzar and the frequency range sucks with this RF amp. ive tried tuning and everything and it doesnt sound good at all. But like i said the RF amp works just fine but when i plug in the lanzar it sits in protection mode. If someone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated.
