I have a Lasko model 5420 compact ceramic heater and would like to clean the interior . There are 4 screws that attach the back, 3 are philips head but the fourth is a head design I don't recogniz
I looked at the back and could see the entire rows of filter covered in dust. Took a vacuum cleaner and spend 5 minutes sucking out the fuzz. Did not have to open up. Will see if it works. Unless I post again , it did. Thanks for the tip. Thanks for the internet!
Requires a special security screwdriver. I modified a slim old screwdriver by filing a small V in the middle of the blade. You can also buy 1/4" driver bits at Harbor Freight, etc.
