The only way to reset the password is to take out the CMOS battery and put it back in. Your BIOS settings will be reset to factory defaults(NOT RECOMMENDED if your laptop is under warranty as opening it can void your warranty)
Ok. Looks like I found it. Close the laptp and turn it upside down and get me an image. . I will mark what screws you have to remove to get to the battery.

If you are not interested in getting the problem resolved then I cannot help you. I asked for the image so that I can mark the screws and tell you what part to remove so that you can get to the battery. You just have to remove the CMOS battery and remove your laptop battery to reset your BIOS password. As simple as that. So please get me the image. Last time I am gonna ask you.

You can reset the BIOS password on your emachines eM250 by removing the CMOS battery on your laptop (The one that looks like a coin cell battery) But that means you are going to open the laptop and look for the coin cell battery which needs an expert technician to do that.
I work for Dell and our supervisors have a master password if customers forgot their passwords. You can ask / call Acer techsupport if they also have the same reset password or master password for the BIOS.
You can reset bios password with 2 method. (1) open back cover of laptop then find motherboard .Pull cmos cell from motherboard for 15 minutes then again put it in it's position .then it not ask for password. (2)You can clear password with jumper settings find jumper on motherboard named clear cmos it has 3 pin .1-2-3 Put jumper in 2-3 position then again put it in 1-2 position then check . Let me know if you need more assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.
The only way to reset the Bios password is to take the computer apart and reset the BIOS jumper. The process is easy but you almost have to disassemble the computer. This is the only way around this problem. Sorry for the bad news.
Friend, Please turn the laptop upside down. You would notice that there are lots of plates screwed there. One of them has a button cell, about an inch in diameter. Remove this cell for a minute or so and then reinsert the cell screwup the plate and power on the laptop.
Normally with a desktop computer you would just take out the CMOS battery to reset the BIOS password. Unfortunately most notebooks do not have a battery that you can remove to reset the password. So what you have to do is contact emachines support and ask them that you will need to do to reset the password. In most cases you have to put in a code or they will send you a CD that you will run on the system.
Let me know if you have any more problems or questions
You will need to get the password reset/removed. The resetting process should remove the password depending on how eMachines setup. However you will need to get a code or a program from them to do this.
For security they do not put this info out on just any one to have. Note for my full time job I work for a computer manufacture and this is how we do it with our notebooks. Also in regards to the code it is different for each notebook. Also I do not even have access to them myself. If I have a customer that needs one I have to go to my manager to get one. So you need to contact eMachines on this as they are the only ones that will be able to help you get the Bios password removed.

As for getting rid of the password, contact emachines service center, you will have to send the unit to a service center to get the password removed.
I do not know how much they will charge you, around 50 to 100 or more $

You will need to contact EMachines to find out about resetting the BIOS password. You can contact here:

I don't know for sure, but since Emachines was bought by Acer, I think they will likely tell you something similiar to this:

You could try removing the BIOS battery for a while (maybe 24 hours)and this would normally resets the password.
