I have a Life Fitness 95xi ellipitical. I'm not sure I have a problem but when I'm using it there is a shhhhing (perhaps you might call it a hissing) sound. I removed the alternator belt and rotated the pedals again and it was still there. Is this just the way this ellipitical sounds when being ridden or is there a problem?

Typically, the noise is your drive belt. You can use a drive belt lubricant, but that doesn’t always fix it. You may need to replace it.
