I have a ls2208 with serial cable, and set defaults with the barcode configuration sheet, but the program 123scan from symbol does not find the scaner, and the serial interfase is working good, cable is ok and program does not find my scaner

Is the com port - serial port working and detected in windows? Is the program set to use the correct com port? In many cases there is com 1 com 2 com 3 com 4 and maybe even more, if the wrong port is selected it wont function.
