I have a Mac Book Pro OSX 10.9.2 & have been using it wirelessly via a Dongle to an Optoma EX 612, I now need to hardwire it but when using a cable from the mini video port on the Mac through an adaptor to the VGA port on the projector, all I can get is a picture of my desktop with no icons. I have been previously showing MP4 downloads but now nothing! Any suggestions
