I have a maxent MX42VM11 which has a picture but no sound?
I have a maxent MX42VM11 which has a picture but no sound. The speakers have been tested and they work. I am able to plug in the cables (AV, component, s video) and get picture but none of them provide sound. If I plug in an external sound source (like computer speakers to the satellite box, vcr, or dvd player) I get sound. I have tested the mute and other audio options on the televisions. Can you help me find the problem?

If you go into the menu of the TV go to the sound setup and select then goto speaker select and select internal speakers (Note: The menus may not be may not be 100% like the ones described here but the menus are mostly alike for most TVs.) or on the back of the TV there is a switch or button that has a selection for either internal or satalite select internal and you should get sound after you turn the TV back on. (Note: the switch on the back could be labled different)
