I have a Maytag Neptune front load washer that the tub is rubbing and is loud
I replaced the bearings in the machine a few years ago. I am now having trouble with the tub rubbing on the front. It looks uneven, I notice wear on the tub and have even found slivers of the plastive inside the tub. Also sounds like aa jet engine taking off!!! Could the bearings be bad again? Help!! The machine is over 10 years old

Could be the bearings . But it could also be the springs that center and hold tub in place. They weaken over time and it is not uncommon for a tub to be scraping because one of the springs is shot. When you replace one, you replace all at same time and eat your wheaties because they are hard to replace.
