I have a microlink infrared kit on my entertainment system, including plasma tv. Worked great for several years, now having a problem with it constantly blinking Blue when watching tv. Can't operate the universal remote when blinking. No changes in room that would emit infrared. What's cause of the problem?

Did you get a new TV recently or is it the same plasma? Some TV's especially plasma emit infrared which interfere with the receiver. Did it fall off and you moved it? If so then relocate it further away from the TV.
