I have a miller 255 nig .the welder will start to weld and stops gas flow is working the triger is working . You can relase the triger and start it again it willweld about 1 inch and stop emall [email protected] thanks Blake

Sound like you have a machine programed on stitch mode, to override the program do the following:
1)Turn off the machine
2) With the machine turned off press the gun trigger.
3) Turn on your machine keep the trigger pressed, hold it for about 3-5 seconds. Depress the trigger and you should be good.
