I have a Motorola M700 Bluetooth ear piece. The head set is fully charged and I can hear fine when I have the unit on, however no one can hear me when I talk. The unit has not experienced water damage or any other such damage and I have had it approximately 8 months. Is there a way to reset the unit etc etc?

Check the microphone hole, if you must clean it out, you can use a pin or staple. They get plugged up and don't let sound in
