I have a Mustek Scanexpress A3 USB scanner. I''ve installed all software and hook up the machine. When I try to scan using Photoshop of the bundled "Panel" software, the program locks. I'm using XP Professional. I've tried the scanner in other USB ports with the same result. I have other USB devices that all wrk fine

It could be something to do with the bundled software having a missing or corrupt TWAIN32 file.. But you can Scan using Windows XP itself.
