I have a nautilus T914 commercial treadmill. What kind of receptacle do I plug it into? The motor is 230 volts
The treadmill has a plug where one of the prongs is flat and the other one is straight. The wires in the plug are a light blue and a brown plus the green with a yellow stripe. Do you plug this into a 120volt receptacle or a 220. The motor in the unit is 230volts.

Depends on which plug blade is horizontal and which is vertical.
You know that on a standard 2-blade plug, one blade is wider than the other. The wider one is the common and the narrower one is the hot wire. If the hot wire blade is the one turned sideways, then the treadmill is a 20 amp 220v appliance. If its the common blade that's turned flat or sideways (the wider one), then it's a 20 amp 125v appliance.
The fact that the motor is rated at 230 volts doesn't mean much in this case. The motor is a DC motor and the electronics may provide varying voltages for it for different running speeds. The motor likely may also run on pulsed DC.
