I have a Navman F 20 purchased this month at a local retailer. I have my receipt, but the maps are not updated. How can I update my maps on this device?
You have to purchase the DVD for 29.95 pounds. The package will contain a DVD and a key. As outlined on the page the key will only update one of the areas listed. It looks like you must purchase extra keys if you want more than one area updated. You will also need to purchase a USB cord that will allow you to connect your GPS to your computer so that you can transfer the map from the DVD to your GPS. There is a connectivity kit that they also sell that will fit your GPS and computer. Again the price is 29.95 pounds. The costs involved are about the same as most GPS units. Although most manufacturers will allow you the first update for free. The subsequent updates normally will cost you another 30 pounds per year or 60-90 punds for a lifetime update. You might want to check the site to see if they support that type of an update path.
