I have a new arcade cocktail table with 60 games (galaga, donkey kong, etc). When it arrived, it worked fine, but only for 2 days. Then the joysticks started sticking. The factory sent me 2 new joysticks ('the original Ms. Pacman joysticks" they said.) Then I turned the game on and there was nothing on the screen. No image at all. I could hear the games working (by moving the joystick around and hitting '1 player' a game would start and proceed--but no display on the monitor. The factory said it was then sending me a new monitor chassis. So, I replaced (at great peril) two joysticks and the monitor chassis.. same thing. Still no display. You can hear the monitor turn on and the light on the board turns green, but about 2 seconds later something 'clicks' and the light goes to yellow on the board. I have adjusted the power supply box (per their instructions) by turning the voltage knob. still no display. I have plugged it into other outlets in my house. Nothing. I am heartsick and have wanted this game table for 25 years. Why is there no display on the monitor???

I feel your pain. BUt if it were me, I"d call the company that you bought this lomon from and demand your money back. I t is obviousyou paid big $$ for it, now, they want You to be the troubleshooter and fix it yourself. SInce you are not a tech, you need to tell those A holes that you wil lnot attempt to fix something that is their fault. After 2 days, they should picp up the unit, or send another one. IN fact, I would not want another item from this company.
If you paid by credit card, or PayScam, you may have recourse in getting a refund. I would strongly suggest that you DO NOT work on it anymore. That is not your job.
Please don't just shrug this off, feeling ripped off. DO SOMETHING about it, demand your money back as you did not get what you paid for. There are laws in every state that say that a piece of merchandise has the expectation to perform as it is stated. You should NOT mess with it at all. So, don't roll over and let these idiots take advantage of you. Make the call and tell them to send someone out to fix the damn thing, or take it back. I know you've waited many years for one, but this is not it. Those mods are all over the place for sale, so don't think you have a one of a kind item. There are others, from more relaible sellers.
Hope this makes sense to you and you stop fooling with it yourself.
Let me say that if you mess with it, they could say thet YOU messed it up. . So leave it alone. Good luck :)
