I have a new Dell computer, which has no PS2 port
I am getting a new Dell computer at work, which has no PS2 port. Instead, the mouse connects by USB. For years, I've used a Fellowes #99841 touchpad mouse, but it has a PS2 plug. I'd like keep using the Fellowes touchpad mouse.
I would buy a PS2 to USB adapter, but I've heard the computer doesn't recognize the Fellowes mouse. Will I need to download a driver, or is there a special PS2 to USB adapter I should get? Can you help?

No, unfortunatly there is none unless you specificaly ask Dell for a usb driver.
It's a common myth that users think USB has built in drivers in it's hardware. The only resolution to this issue is to ask the manufacturer for a new driver for this specific item to run under usb.
