I have a new Jacuzzi tub with a Rapid In-Line Heater. When I fill the tub the water the initial temp is 67 degrees. The heater only increases the temp to 71 degrees. What is wrong with the heater ,if anything. The heater comes on and seems to be working. When I feel the water coming out of the jets it is cold. The bath heater you have is not designed to HEAT water - they only Maintain what you start with.
You need to start the bathtub with the hot water you want. It will only heat about 1-2 degrees an hour.
