I have a new kodak easyshare c182 digital camera. The problem is that one out of every 6 or 7 picture I take, I get an error message that reads ''unrecognized file format''. Is there a way to correct this problem

Did you format the card in the camera before you started to use it? You can still do that but download any pics first since formatting will erase the card.
