I have a new LS4278. I need to congigure it to read fedex barcode
I have a new LS4278 barcode scanner. I need to congigure it to read FedEx tracking number bar codes properly. Currently, the unit reads/transmits the entire 32 character group. I need the unit to read/send only the 12 character group embedded in the larger group. The unit reads the 18 character UPS group just fine. How do I do that? Thanks, James ... All you have to do is create a rule to transmit only the 12 digits you want.
You can create a rule with the Programming manual or the 123scan software.
