I have a new Singer 5532
I can't get the needle to pick up the bobbin thread .It sew a but and then started bunching up the thread and then it amed under the bobbin case.cleared it and now no thread comes up

Put in a new needle. Unthread the machine then rethread it being sure it is threaded correctly--especially through the tension control. Remove the bobbin and make sure it is wound correctly. Replace the bobbin and being certain that it is in the correct position. Check the manual if you are unsure how your machine is threaded or how to replace the needle.
