I have a nextar gps x3-03 my stupid thing keeps freazing evertime I am going to navigation I can't find any updates for it except for some 60 dollar chip and I don't even know for sure if it just needs to be updated. I tired to reset it I tried to fully charge it but nothing
Try to re-install the navigation software and see what happens. If it comes with a removable storage card, then remove the card and plug it into a pc, then download the software from the manufacturer's website making sure you got the right one. Then copy the software on the sd card and put it into the gps and let it install. If it does not have any removable storage then plug its USB connection into a pc and read the files that are associated with the gps software.Copy all softwares on a folder as a means of back up and paste any new downloaded software in the place oft the old ones on the gps. This should solve your problem then.Hope this helps.
You need to download the software from the manufacuturer's website, so do a google on this manufacturer's site, then go to the site and download it.Using its USB ,connect the gps to a pc and try to read the files, make a back up of all in a different folder and install the new downloaded files there, make sure it is extracted ( if applicable). Then boot up the GPS and see what happens.
