The error 0xC0000005 is generated by an illegal "memory access violation". This can be caused by anything from a faulty or incorrect/corrupt device driver or poorly written/updated software. On a GPS the only way to correct this is to do a master reset or have the unit sent for service repair.
On your particular unit the only way to do a reset is to disconnect the power lead and then power up again - there is no other master reset for the unit. You should remove your SD card when you do this also - if it boots up - the problem may be with the card or the software contained on it.
