I have a Nissan navara d22 Str 3.0 and is blowing blue smoke mainly from cold start and slowly goes away when warm, does anyone know if this is something major?
For what you to describe to happen means that there is oil in the combustion chamber after you shut down or is getting there before the engine rings have a chance to control the oil on start up check the viscosity of oil you are using as it may be too heavy for the rings to control have a dry and wet compression test done to check the condition of the engine
