I have a nordic track c2255 - having belt issues when I run(i am 200 lbs and the belt skips) i think the tread is properly adjusted - I took the cover off and noticed two idler arm spring settings - a lower and a higher one - i moved the idler arm spring to the higher setting and it seems to have solved my problem - my question is it OK to make this adjustment? will it just wear out the motor belt quicker?

Hello there, Your are perfectly fine by making that adjustment. That is actually what it is for. When the belts get older and start stretching you can move that spring and get more tension. It does not harm the roller or the drive motor.
