I have a nvida g force fx5700 agp grafix card I am running widows 7 when I run the generic driver everything works fine except its not 3d or good for anything as far as gaming. i downloaded the driver for this card but all they had was vista drivers I was told they would work. but my grafix keep freezing up and recovering . help me pls

Install xp then with the system booted start the windows 7 install to avoid the need for a driver ... or pull the card and use the on board mobo dsub (bypass the card ) ....
Nvidia (and if its any consent to you, AMD/ATI is no different) does not care a lot about existing customers, they are more focused on selling new cards.
- Use the drivers that are installed with Windows 7. You won't have the Nvidia custom control panel, but the card should work.
- Use 3rd party drivers, e.g. the Omega Drivers. Personally, I'd go for this option.
There are two options for you:
Go to guru3d.com and click on the download link. Look for your video card driver that supports windows 7. Hope this helps..
