I have a nvida g force fx5700 agp grafix card I am running widows 7 when I run the generic driver everything works fine except its not 3d or good for anything as far as gaming. i downloaded the driver for this card but all they had was vista drivers I was told they would work. but my grafix keep freezing up and recovering . help me pls

Install xp then with the system booted start the windows 7 install to avoid the need for a driver ... or pull the card and use the on board mobo dsub (bypass the card ) ....
Nvidia (and if its any consent to you, AMD/ATI is no different) does not care a lot about existing customers, they are more focused on selling new cards.
There are two options for you:
Use the drivers that are installed with Windows 7. You won't have the Nvidia custom control panel, but the card should work.
Use 3rd party drivers, e.g. the Omega Drivers. Personally, I'd go for this option.

Go to guru3d.com and click on the download link. Look for your video card driver that supports windows 7. Hope this helps..
