I have a OKI C6150 got a jam now I have a Fatal error #980. It is a fuser problem. OKI is sending me a new one. But, is there a way diassemble the old fuser & repair it? Is there a fuse inside that burns out if heat gets to high?

Inside fixing unit are also thermoswitch and thermistor wich can burn out, but also the fixing lamp too. You must dissasemble it and by DVM test the circuits, if the circuit is opend on thermistor, that means that he is burnd out.
