I have a Peugeot partner 1.9d and it has really poor acceleration, start and idle is fine but I need to have my foot pinned to the floor to go anywhere?

Excessive carbon build up in exhaust may have caused problem. Remove muffler, check exhaust part of cylinder and carefully remove carbon deposit.
