Sounds like a short to me, go over all connections and retape/crimp as needed. If that doesn't solve problem, go to speaker connections n check secure and not shorting. .... Also sounds maybe like you have speakers connected in maybe 2ohm load instead of 4ohm. Lmk what u come up with.
