I noticed that my unit was a bit noisy. When I checked the power supply, I noticed that the port around where the AC adapter entered the unit had a brown tint around it, apparently from burning. When I removed the plug, I noticed that it had melted and compromised the integrity of the plug. I immediately unplugged it and now am wondering if a new power supply would be advisable. It does not appear that the unit is damaged, but the evidence of burning on the unit is a concern. Please advise.
