Well the hard drive on the laptop now is 40 GB. It is an ATA hard drive so you need to buy an ATA hard drive of xx gb. You choose the capacity, but considering the characteristics of your laptop it should be fine a 80 GB or 120 GB. (i mean the RAM is only 256MB and the data transfer will be slow).
