I have a Pulsar gold watch model number 20043 can you tell me about what it is worth and any other information. It was suposed to have a lifetime warantee but then Pulsar sold out so I don't know what I have now I think it just needs batery replace now. It still has original clip band
I think 20043 is the serial number, not the model number. Please identify your watch using http://www.oldpulsars.com/ These watches used mercury batteries, which are not available any more. I took my PULSAR II to a jeweler here in San Francisco, and he had specially made batteries for this purpose. It cost me $24, but the watch is worth over $800. PS: Robotek: gold PULSAR watches from the 1970's were solid gold, and the link you provided for the manuals are only for the new watches.
The watch will bew gold plated, and probably not worth much more than a battery replacement cost. Expect to pay $15-50 to have this work done, with the dearer amount for cleaning and seal replacement. A professional(jeweller) will do this work for you, Some lil cheapo guys dont bother with cleaning and the seal integrity and of course, so the water resistance of the watch will be gone.
