I have a PVS12DT Personal Viewing System, Integrated Controller out of a precor exercise machine I am trying to repair for a friend. the problem is garbled screen and has a vertical roll. I cannot even pull up a menu. I am guessing a capacitor or two have gone bad in the vertical circuit. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The tuner inside the unit has most likely gone bad. I've seen a lot of these units do this in the last year or so. Precor use to refurbish these on site but they discontinued the program. If a tuner goes bad in one of these they want you to replace the whole viewing system now
