I have a Raymarine E80 interfaced with an AIS. The port setting for the AIS is required to be 38400. If I switch the AIS on - it makes the E80 reboot after about an hour - and the system loses its settings. Is there anything that can be done to fix this ? Thanks

The software shoud be 5.23 for the E 80
If you have two E series maybe a E 80 and a E120 both MUST HAVE the same SOFTWARE
If not you can have problems like this.
First things first, be sure you have the most recent software version installed. You should have version 4.29 . Once that is established, if the problem persists you will need to call Raymarine's Tech support line and describe your troubles (since the problem is a bit unusual).
