I have a rheem water heater and I can light the the pilot but the valve shuts off after a few minutes. Everything seems to be working fine. What could be the problem?
Have you you tried to jump the pressure switch first? Have you checked the vent outside to make sure it is not plugged ?
Check the pressure switch where the hose connect to, to make sure it is not partly plugged, check the hose for cracks.I have also seen the the blower motor wheel be dirty and cause this problem.
