I have a rinnai energy saver 556f our power blew out and it knocked out all our appliances.i am trying to get my rinnai to stay lite but the pilot wont stay on.it goes on for about 3 seconds and then cuts out.does this have something to do with the power surge that happened.if so can u tell what to do to try and keep it going.did the power surge knock something else out.please help

Your 556 does not have a pilot light. When you try to start look into the window, you should see an arcing, this is the igniter. With a power outage there is no telling what may have happened. With only limited knowledge of a gas heater you should call a Rinnai service guy.
